I GUESS THE BEST PART OF ROOFING IS THE STORIES. SIT BACK AND HAVE A FEW LAUGHS. WE
SURE HAVE. ANOTHER THING I THINK MAKES  IT GREAT IS THAT WE HAVE DAUGHTERS THAT
ROOF AND DO GROUND CLEAN UP. AND SONS THAT MAKE IT A MAD HOUSE!  LOL
ANYWAY.....HERE WE GO !!  ENJOY

Angela: She was roofing an old historic building in West Jefferson and had started tearing off
the old roof, when these bats (YES, BATS !) came flying out from underneath. Thank goodness
she was holding on because she  went scooting to the other end of the roof. Too afraid to stand
up I guess. Everyone was laughing! She was so scared and moving so fast that her cigarettes
came out of her pocket and down in the attic. She refused to go inside to get them. Later that
day, a strong wind came up and blew the ladder down. I ( her mom) Teri had to close the office,
drive 45 minutes to get there and put up the ladder. They were all stuck on the roof!

Same place different day: A farmer out there has pigs. Well, hogs. Wanna guess who got
chased by one? Yep. Angela! She was running around the building screaming and the hog was
right on her tail. Everyone there told her to jump in the dumpster but she is only 5' (and that's
pushing it, lol)  but she couldn't. Finally, a rottweiler dog came and bit the pig on it's rear end
and it stopped chasing her. She was terrified. Poor girl. One of our best roofers too.

Stephanie: She was in Whitehall at an apartment complex. It was mid November 05 and her nail
gun became froze so she sat it down and guess what?  It shot right through her knee cap. She
couldn't move or stand so the ambulance had to come and they had to call the fire dept to
bring a lift to get her off the roof. She was so embarrassed  that the police and paramedic's
came. But we had no way of getting her down off a 3 story building. At the hospital they gave
her the nail as a souvenir gift!

Ronnie: finally rejoined the roofing family in July of 07. He and his girlfriend moved up here from
Newark.Since then his girlfriend Angie gave birth to their baby girl Zoe in August. Well I guess
we'll have another girl roofer someday. He also picked up the name turtle, just because he got
rusty being off the roof so long.

Ok got another one about guess who Angie. This one isn't about roofing but it's to funny to pass
up! Well I guess her husband bought a motorcycle for her. ( Big mistake) Even if she always
wanted one. She was
trying to ride it when she came upon a stop sign. Her feet couldn't even
reach the ground. She got it to stop and the all the sudden it started going over on it's side. Can
you image this! LOL Needless to say she needs a stepstool on the back or some platform
shoes like 6 inches to give her some kind of height. Poor kid I think the public is safer with her
driving a car.

I have been debating rather to put this on the page but I got to. Sorry in advance Greg( the
owner) It's a must!

Greg & I was out doing an esitmate. I noticed a lot of houses needed new roofs so we started
flying the neighborhood we was in. Greg went to the middle house in a cul de sac and he heard
some dogs barking. I had already got in the van. He came FLYING!!!! I was laughing so hard I
couldn't open the door!  He kept yelling open the door! I thought i was going to wet my pants I
was laughing so hard. Greg was trying to jump into the van through the window!!!!!!!! OMG to
funny. When he got inside I was laughing so hard because the (small) dogs stopped at the end
of their driveway, meanwhile Greg kept running. He now says they was big dogs but I seen'm
no way!! That has been over 5 years ago and to this day it's so funny I wish i could have
camcorded it!
